ITP has taken over the sub-concession contracts entrusted by the previous infrastructure managers to specialised operators for management of all services in the Service Areas, and ensures their best provisions, by periodically monitoring them. The outgoing concessionaires awarded the fuel and lubricant distribution services, commercial activities, and catering services through competitive procedures governed by the provisions of Article 11, paragraph 5-ter, of Law No. 498/92.
Following the takeover on December 1, 2024, ITP S.p.A. is in the process of initiating procedures to re-award the management of the Service Areas pursuant to the Concession Agreement. These procedures include mechanisms for determining, adjusting, and monitoring the prices of goods and services, in compliance with industry legislation and regulations.
