CALENDAR OF HGV RESTRICTIONS
Ministerial Decree no. 314 of 12/12/2024 issued by the Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport concerning the directives and calendar for road traffic restrictions outside built-up areas for the year 2025.
Prohibition of circulation, outside of built-up areas, of vehicles and vehicle combinations, for the transport of goods, with a total authorised mass exceeding 7.5 t, even when unloaded. The transport of dangerous goods belonging to classes 1 and 7, identified in the Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), is prohibited for any quantity of goods transported, regardless of the maximum total mass of the vehicle, as well as on the calendar days indicated in article 2 of Ministerial Decree no. 314 of 12/12/2024, from 08:00 to 23:59 every Saturday and from 00:00 to 23:59 every Sunday from 24 May to 7 September 2025.
In the case of vehicle combinations consisting of a tractor and a semi-trailer where only the tractor is driven on the road, the mass limit shall relate solely to the tractor itself; the mass of the tractor, if the latter is not suitable for loading, shall be the tare weight of the tractor.
