Environmental Compatibility Decree no. 2 of 12/01/2015, subsequently extended by Ministerial Decree 116 of 01/06/2020 until 10/02/2025. In compliance with environmental condition A.7 and, with regard to the accessibility of monitoring data, with environmental condition A.9, the following is published:
Environmental condition A.7
“The Environmental Monitoring Plan of the work must be updated, which must be agreed with ARPA and with the Autorità di Bacino del Fiume Po (Po River Basin Authority), to the extent of its remit, and must pay particular attention to the following aspects:
7.1 regarding the Atmosphere component, with reference to an in-depth study of the emission conditions and spread due to the future operation of the work, monitoring of pollutants caused by road traffic in the pre-operational and operational phases must be defined, with particular reference to CO, NO, NO2, NOx, C6H6, PM10 and PM;
7.2 with regard to the Surface Water, Groundwater and Physical Land Use components, it must be supplemented by also taking into account the groundwater at the Calea di Sotto drinking water well;
7.4 with regard to the Noise component, monitoring of the acoustic climate due to road traffic must be envisaged in correspondence with the critical areas defined by the Noise Abatement Plan of the Torino-Quincinetto motorway section prepared by the Province of Turin;”
Environmental condition A.9
“The updated Environmental Monitoring Plan must be forwarded to the MATTM for verification and a suitable database must be created for the collection, systematisation, analysis and dissemination of data, which must be made available in real time to ARPA, the Po River Basin Authority and the Province of Turin, which is currently implementing a specific hydraulic monitoring model.”
