Mechanical Rescue
The Concessionaire’s Operations Control Centre supervises and coordinates the mechanical rescue activities on the routes managed.
On the sections managed by ITP, the following organisations are authorised: ACI Global Servizi, Europ Assistance VAI, ESA Euro Service Assistance, IMA Italia Assistance, AXA Assistance, MAWDY Services, and Rete Soccorritori Indipendenti 24 Network Nord-Ovest.
These organisations operate through authorised repair shops and the service is guaranteed 24 hours a day. Mechanical assistance may be requested directly from authorised organisations or from the Concessionaire’s Operations Control Centre.

If the Concessionaire’s Operations Control Centre is involved, the Operator will ascertain whether the vehicle is in a safe position and which organisation is requested by the user.
If the vehicle is not in a safe position or creates an obstacle or danger, since it constitutes an event of essential public assistance, the Operations Control Centre will send a tow truck from an authorised organisation to the scene, regardless of the Organisation indicated by the user.
For all vehicles with a load capacity of up to 35 quintals, the Organisations have a “mutual agreement” service, whereby a ACI, VAI, ESA, IMA, AXA, MAWDY or S.I.24 member is entitled to assistance free of charge even if, for whatever reason, he or she receives assistance from a different Organisation.
